S5 Microtremor Wireless
Real time curves can be viewed during data collection
Features
Real Time curves can be viewed during Data Collection.
Microtremor exploration requires no artificial seismic source; it utilizes various weak vibration signals existing in nature as the seismic source for survey.
Microtremor exploration primarily utilizes Rayleigh surface waves in microtremor signals; therefore, it is also known as “natural source surface wave exploration” or “passive source surface wave exploration.
To address the challenge of unidentifiable microtremor signals, S5 Intelligent Microtremor Survey abandons the existing passive blind acquisition mode and adopts a visual and controllable “intelligent acquisition” mode.
It processes data while acquiring it, dynamically displaying the changes in the Z-V domain dispersion curve in real time during acquisition. This curve can be used to guide construction, thereby ensuring the quality of data acquisition.
Highlights
- Real-Time Dispersion Display:Stacked depth–velocity dispersion curves for instant data quality control and reduced blind acquisition.
- Wide Exploration Depth:From several meters to thousands of meters.
- High Resolution:Dense points achieve ~1 m horizontal resolution.
- Wireless Operation:4G and Wi-Fi connectivity for remote control and data transfer.
- AI-Powered Automated Processing:Automatically extracts dispersion curves and microtremor parameters, reducing manual processing.
- Model-Free Inversion:No predefined stratigraphic model is required. Automatic inversion directly estimates the formation S-wave velocity structure.
- Up to 10× Higher Efficiency:Real-time on-site profiling significantly reduces manual processing time and supports rapid geological assessment and emergency response.
